Tech Data announces a contract to distribute the ServiceNav monitoring solution-Coservit

Tech Data announces a contract to distribute the ServiceNav monitoring solution from Coservit. This contract enables the integration of ServiceNav into Tech Data’s TDCloud™ solution, and its commercialization by TD Azlan, the “Value Added” division of Tech Data, initially within France.

“This agreement brings TD Azlan’s network of partners a monitoring and inventory solution that will allow them to develop high value added services for their clients. This solution enables transformation to a new cloud technology-based business model to deliver new services as well as good margins.” says Benoit Debiais, Tech Data’s Cloud Strategy and Innovation Director.

In a basic terms, ServiceNav is an IT monitoring solution made up of 3 functional components:

The monitoring component: detection and processing alerts, configuration and production of the monitoring system and solution users.
Windows inventory component: automatic inventory of materials and software, automatic recovery of warranties on manufacturer sites.
The BI component: Service utilisation and SLA measurements presented by the via the “IT weather service” or via a library of reports.

This solution gives TechData sales partners substantial gains in both quality and productivity by saving technical teams time and allowing them to focus on high value added tasks and enabling the generation of additional revenue through new service offers.
