WatchGuard and Coservit seal a technology partnership in IT systems security monitoring.



WatchGuard Technologies, a leader in advanced network security solutions, has announced the signature of a technology partnership agreement with Coservit, an IT service monitoring software solutions provider. This partnership agreement, part of the WatchGuardONE Technology Partner program, brings together Watchguard’s UTM Firebox range and Coservit’s ServiceNav monitoring software.

“With this agreement, the ServiceNav solution and our WatchGuard security boxes are bundled to provide an “out-of-the-box” monitoring solution. It means that VAR partners and IT outsourcers of both businesses can ensure even higher value-added service potential for their customers,” explains Pascal Le Digol, WatchGuard’s director in France. “Our partners also benefit from substantial improvements in productivity and quality, and the time saved by staff can be better spent on high added-value tasks (creating reports and so on).”

Jean-Luc Le Colleter, Alliances director at Coservit adds:  “Thresholds set against the key performance indicators of WatchGuard appliances are used to add ‘security ‘as a component of IT-driven services; services that are critical to the end client’s business.”
