ServiceNav 3.18 – Whats new – Metrics on the MAP Dashboard – GDPR /  new plug-ins

Back to news

In Brief

Major New Feature for ServiceNav: MAP Dashboard Metrics

First stop for purpose-driven monitoring.

  • Ecommerce
    • What is the average basket value?
    • How long does my basket validation scenario run?
    • What is the number of orders per minute?
  • IT services
    • What is the CPU / RAM load level of my DBMS server during a backup operation?
    • What percentage or value is bandwidth usage between HQ and remote sites?
  • Access control
    • How many people are present in the building?
  • Retail
    • What is the turnover per EPOS?
  • Hospitality / Medical
    • What is the average or current temperature, per room/ per floor?

You can now answer these questions at a glance via your MAP.

And all this, in real time, depending to the check interval.

The use cases are infinite, no doubt you will have your own ideas.

The addition of the “metric” element to the MAP Dashboard confirms the position of ServiceNav as an IT management tool at both a functional & business level.

It is now possible to represent the metric data returned by a check point (percentage, value) as a raw value, average or average peak hour, directly on the MAP Dashboard.

We are excited about this feature because we sincerely believe that it offers a great opportunity for all customers to expand the monitored scope of ServiceNav, as well as other associated uses.

Extended GDPR Features

In this release, access GDPR features to help you achieve compliance.

Once the GDPR message is prepared (see the release note 3.17), users will have to acknowledge it via a pop-up, upon accessing the platform.

This is your guarantee that the information has been seen and understood, by your entire ServiceNav user community, including users who do not disconnect, and therefore are not prompted with the message on the login page.

Once the pop-up is closed, it never appears again for the user.

New / improved plug-ins

Finally, we have also enriched our plug-ins catalog with support for Exagrid backup technologies, a new plug-in for SQL Server and the following additions:

  • Plugins based on the check_p2000_ * commands: MSA 2050 model support
  • Plugins based on the check_ps_counter command: implementing the winrm and winrms methods
